Business Model: This website was built for a local fraternity that required a site with many features.  First, they wanted it to be very secure since the nature of fraternity is keeping things secure.  Second, they needed user groups, one for actual brothers of the house, another for the alumni brothers, and finally a log in for guests.  Finally, each user group then needed to be able to access their specific set of content.  For example, the guest can not see what an alumni sees of course.

Now each brother can log in and the platform recognizes their permission role.  They can now update and contribute to internal forums, and each brother (user) also has their own personal blog.  Other brothers or users can comment on other forum/blog posts, or comment on the reply to forum/blog posts.  It has a user directory to allow everyone to stay in touch and easy ways to accept donations through Pay Pal and connect with other social outlets like facebook and twitter. Basically they now enjoy a dynamic social website that grows and updates as the fraternity does.

Business Model: SouthwestDPI.com was a very fun site to work on, and equally a fascinating company.  They specialize in data protection and data destruction.  In short, they are basically a safe deposit box for anything relating to digital media.  They have state of the art facilities, vaults, security and more.

SouthwestDPI unfortunately started out with the inflexible Website Tonight package offered by GoDaddy.  This provided them a poor looking site that was completely static.  Their needs with the new site involved  many dynamic features like user log in, different user types as well a cleaner look and way to update pages and products as they naturally need to change.  

They are very happy with their site and have taken far beyond the original work done by PlanetTucker.  If you need to protect any data, they are the ones to call - I know I will.

Business Model: JohnSchmidtLive was a redone website for the famous motivational speaker JohnSchmidt.  His site before this one was very inflexible, requiring him to pay hefty I.T. costs to do simple things like update a picture, or add to a blog.  Now his site has many dynamic features including a full featured administrative backend to help him make any change he needs.

He hosts a wonderful ministry helping and encouraging children all over the country.  If you think you would like to book him or learn more about he can offer check him out.  Very nice guy, and VERY easy to talk to.

Business Model:  This company had a GoDaddy website tonight package that was absolutely terrible.  If you’ve have website tonight you’ll know what this means – inflexible, poor looking, and hard to expand with.  They needed a site that was flexible and attractive, which they now have.  Getting away from GoDaddy’s web builder saved them in unnecessary monthly costs for the right to use the inferior platform, and gave them many more options and control over the look and organization of the content on their website.
